Adam Baker is a writer, social media marketer, and former broadcast journalist who believes storytelling is more than just a buzzword. Adam leverages its power to grow audiences and connect with consumers in meaningful and memorable ways.
Adam uses his wide range of experience to get results and exceed expectations through social media, public relations, and marketing.
Adam manages social media strategy for one of the largest public libraries in the country. He also serves as the Marketing Chairperson for one of the largest book festivals in the Midwest and works with various clients as a freelance marketer.
He previously was head of marketing and communications for a midsize library system where he was tapped by administrators to craft the organization’s strategic plan and later selected by the Board of Trustees to join a community wide leadership team.
Adam began his career in journalism. As a television reporter he covered news in multiple states, earned awards for his writing, and filed reports for CNN and The Weather Channel.
He’s a proud graduate of Eastern Kentucky University where he served as editor-in-chief of the university’s award-winning independent student newspaper and studied global media abroad.
